Ranson was a finialist in Comedy Fireworks Contest at Wileys Comedy Club in 2010! (but was defeated by Jeremy Johnson)
Ranson was featured in the Dayton paper twice!
THE BEGINING
Ranson has always wanted to do comedy but had to overcome his fear of failing. He did and now its hard to keep him off stage. Ranson was pushed by friends and family to take the stage, so he did his first show in a garage. To his surprise he was a hit and that started The Garage Tour! The tour was called The Ranson Karr Project! He did 6 garage shows and then moved into the comedy club. His first show at Wileys Comedy Club was a great success. Not only was it a great show but Ranson met one of his closest friends and a comic he would later tour with. That comic the very funny Travis Clyburn. Ranson did some more shows by himself but had a bigger plan. Ranson went for a night on the town and at a bar in his home town he saw an old friend . That friend was Jeremy Johnson . Jeremy told Ranson how he admired what he was doing and wished he could do it. Ranson and Jeremy talked all night and Ranson convinced Jeremy to follow his dream , from that night on they were a team hitting bars and comedy clubs together. Ranson continued booking gigs but made sure it included Travis and Jeremy. While working at Wileys Comedy Club the guys met comedian and former mayor of Fairborn Ohio, Jack Wilson. Jack helped these guys get gigs and help guide them in the right direction. Then there was four, and so began THE CRY FOR HELP TOUR ! They were hitting comedy clubs, bars, hotels and selling them out night after night.
